Ground Collaborative is a landscape architecture practice that partners with clients to envision, realize, and steward places they care about. We aim to make good design accessible for those cultivating communities, particularly on a small scale or budget.

Ground Collaborative is led by Alexandra Mei, PLA, ASLA. She is a licensed landscape architect in Missouri and Illinois, with nearly a decade of experience working across a wide range of clients and project scales—from innovation districts and universities to small nonprofits and individual homeowners. Alexandra currently teaches at Washington University in St. Louis and has led the St. Louis Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Her work has been recognized by ASLA, Landscape Architecture Foundation, and her alma maters Harvard Graduate School of Design and WashU.

This background in design practice and education is central to how Ground Collaborative works: helping people understand the design process, articulate their vision, and create meaningful places that last.
